IVF Treatment in India


In a country like India where the population is very high, it is incredible that infertility is associated with a mass of negatives. After marriage, there is a social pressure put on young couple to have a baby. As we are living in a male dominated society, it becomes necessary to have a baby, if not more, at least, one.
Nowadays science has made rapid advances, that with the help of doctors and with IVF treatment it’s easy for couples to have the own baby. In the middle of women cycle, when an egg released from the womb, the active sperm are placed in the women uterus through which she become pregnant.




How Currently IVF Success Is Affected 
Infertility increases around 60-70% in past few years, with women delaying marriages, childbirth and focusing on their careers. The other reasons of increase infertility in women could be the polycystic ovarian disease and premature ovarian failure. The decrease of men sperm counts can also be a reason of increase infertility, now male partner is also equally responsible for infertility. All these reasons explain the rising number of infertility cases and also IVF clinics in India. The success rate of affected by the following factors:
•    Age:One of the most important factors that affect the IVF success. It has been found that the women under age 35 have more chances of successful IVF than the women over age 40. Older women produce the less egg as compared to younger women which affect the success rate of IVF treatment.


•    Body Weight: Your weight also plays an important role in IVF success.  If you are overweight then you have to reduce the extra weight which could affect the success of IVF cycle. It has been found that the women who are overweight has an increased risk of miscarriage and also have fewer chances of successful IVF cycle than the women who are of normal weight. Being overweight and underweight both affect the success of IVF cycle. It is very important to maintain the ideal weight and balanced diet to increase the chances of successful IVF cycle.




•    Prior Pregnancy: If you were pregnant before, there are chances of successful IVF cycle. The chances of successful IVF reduce if you have a history of recurrent miscarriages.
